devlog #002

Hello everyone, Shatargat here!

It's been a huge while since I opened up this itch page for Necrosphere.

I had lots of things since I paid a visit here. First of all, Necrosphere has a design concept now. I think that it's one of the most important things, because when you don't have a certain design concept, you cannot design the rest of the game. At least when you want to publish a book. I already have ideas about what to do for the game itself, even when I don't touch anything for months.

So, as you can see, the page has a header now. And the thumbnail image is something like a prototype version of the cover book.

I'm still having issues with interior images of the book, since I don't know how draw beautiful images (yet!), and most of the local artists keep suggesting me to use AI generated images, which I don't want for this project. I'm kinda stuck in this situation, and it seems like the best option for having a decent book with nice images would be opening up a fundraising in itch, and trying to reach out to a goal. And then, there can be a proper book with proper images.

After reaching that goal and completing the challenge, I want to put Necrosphere to DTRPG, so there can be a print-on-demand version for whoever wants to buy a physical copy.

Other than that, I think I found more motivation within myself to continue on this project. Right now, I'm using inDesign to desin and write the content, while trying to learn how to draw things digitally while watching a couple of local true crime series.

I think that's all for now. It was just a comeback post for itch.

See you sometime!
